| I highly recommend this book if you have children. My daughter is 6 months old. It helped my husband and I to find the right foods to begin feeding her, as well as how to prepare them and save $$ and time! We also use this book as a quick reference tool for things like what to feed our daughter if she is constipated, etc. Excellent resource! |

| I borrowed a friend's copy of Super Baby Food and found it to be such a helpful resource that I bought my own copy and another as a baby shower gift. The information was a little overwhelming for new mom, but once I settled into mommyhood it became very helpful. I did not read the book from cover to cover but mainly use the book as a resource for what foods can be given at what ages and how to prepare them. The author includes a quick reference for foods that gives suggestions on how to buy, prepare and store foods and at what age a child is ready to try them, which is information I found no where else. I found the freezer cube method she describes very helpful in making a batch of baby food (much easier and cheaper, even for a novice like me). This became my primary source of baby-feeding knowledge, along with a little information from our pediatrican and baby classes. I am just now making use of the toddler food sections which describe eating habits and gives recipes, so the book has yet to collect dust. However, if all it was used for was to quick refernce foods, I would say it was worth every penny. |

| I loved this book. If you don't take this book so literly... it is a wonderful book. I used it as a guide line for what foods to feed, when. When you go to the doctor, they just say try food... but this book tells you what age to give your child food. I used this book for both of my children, and made most of their fruits and vegi's. They both love ALL fruits and vegi's now. It also has some fun crafts to do and how to make wipes, play dough etc. I recomend this book to anyone thinking about making their own food. It is great to use it as a guide line. |
